Doctor's update

After waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment--no I am not a little annoyed with my doctor--I finally got to have my appointment. Anyway, I found out today that I am 1 cm diulated and Danica has started to drop. So any day now--or next week--we could have our baby.

Anything yet....oooo...sorry, I won't ask that again. I remember that's what I hated THE MOST!!! People asking when the kid was coming out already....as if I had any control over the thing I want the most?!

Have you been warned about the post-partum stuff? If not, brace yourself:

There will be blood like you will not believe. It will eventually get better.

You will feel achy and completely wiped out.

When they tell you not to get out of bed without help, don't, you will pass out.

Keep ice on your "exit wound" for a full 24+ hours. Don't worry about bugging the nurses for more...it will make all the difference in the world.

Don't know if you are breastfeeding, but if you are, it can be difficult. Even if your kid is a pro at latching on, you will get sore....toe-curling sore. But again, it will get better as well.

Bringing your little girl into the world is going to be worth all the junk of the recovery. It is absolutely amazing, and you will love her so much, and she will bring you and Corey closer than you ever thought you could be!

PS>>> That little request for comments on my blog was because someone with a private blog had linked to me and I didn't know who it was...and frankly, it bugged me. But the asking for comments worked, and I found out who it was... ;) I'll blog more....maybe...eventually...life is sorta boring lately at our house!
