Happy Birthday Danica

Today was the one year anniversary of the day that I will never forget--the day our family changed forever--the day Danica came to join us.

Here are some pictures of how we celebrated the day of her birthday.


We got her a hostess cupcake and put a candle in it then we sang Happy Birthday to her. She then proceeded to demolish the cupcake. I am thinking that Sunday should be a blast for her. :)

A Day At The Zoo

The break in the weather convinced Nana (Danica's sitter) that it was safe to plan a trip to the Zoo for Danica, NeNe, Samantha and Aiden. Of course, by the day of the trip the break in the weather had subsided and it was hot again. But still, you can't promise a trip to the Zoo and not deliver. So Danica got to go to the Zoo last Friday. She had a blast, but she was very tired by the time she got home.

The ironic thing is that the pictures from the day at the Zoo did not focus on the animals--they focused on Danica doing two of her favorite things (eating and sleeping). What can I say? She is a consistent--and so very cute. So for your viewing pleasure, here are a couple of pictures from the Zoo:
